With a combination of Finals and UNM and a loss of the church Dell computer, the website has been pushed back to January 5th as a launch date.  After January 5th, Paypal and all of the site functionality should be operational.   The Newsletter and subscriber content will be available online, starting February 1st and published on the first of each month thereafter.  The March through June retreat dates will be published on January 5th.  Private events will be published to subscribers only starting January 5th.

Due to may scheduling conflicts, the February 5th weekend has been broken into two seperate events.  We will be holding one on January 15th and 16th, the other will be February 19th and 20th. (NOT the 18th!)

January will be held in Albuquerque while we are looking to hold February in Taos.  January will have two classes, Basic Breathwork and Sacred Space.  February classes will include the breathworking class but will have a Ritual class instead of the Sacred Space class.

Jurema

Jurema is a Brazilian medicine plant that is incorporated in our teas from Samhain to Beltane.  During the winter, Jurema represents the harsher and Masculine time of the year (the summers focus more on the Divine Feminine and contain much more Vine).

We were intrigued during the 2008 Shamanism Conference that there were other groups that essentially utilize this plant medicine in a similar way and during the same seasons.

As we continue to build the website through November most of our work will go on behind the scene.
So what are our plans?

We are looking to set up a calendar where anyone who registers with us will be able to see when and where our workshops and retreats will happen. Previously our blog, website and forum were all in different locations and we are looking to integrate everything into a single condensed website.

Online Donation and Payments

The PaDeva Yule ceremony will be a small private event that is already booked completely for the evening. We will be focusing on personal discovery with special attention given to discovering, displaying and implementing personal strengths and values.

We are excited about the changes taking place this month on the web! We have made the move from padeva.com to padeva.org and we are further in the process of switching from static pages to Drupal, a content management system. This will allow us many features not previously available, including member and subscriber support for content. It should also allow us to better integrate the website and the blog so that we do not have two completely different sites to follow and maintain.
